Service Electric Co., Inc. was founded in Bismarck, North Dakota during the Depression year of 1933 by John B. Kottsick, grandfather of present co-owner Todd A. Kottsick. The company moved to Seattle during the war year of 1944. Present owners Mel A. Buttrum and Todd A. Kottsick assumed control of the business in 1994. Mr. Kottsick and Mr. Buttrum have over 50 years of combined construction experience.

Our experienced staff of estimators, project manager, and field technicians allow us to provide all phases of electrical work for our customers. Call us for your low voltage cabling, primary power, energy saving lighting retrofits, emergency power, as well as new construction requirements. In addition, we offer 24/7 on-call service for our customers.
